HARDY has announced his highly anticipated Hixtape Vol. 2 will feature 33 artists/bands. However, the singer-songwriter himself will only be singing on six-of-the-fourteen tracks.

He explained in a video clip on social media:

“I know a lot of y’all have been asking when Hixtape No. 2 is coming out. Look Hixtape No. 1 was awesome, 10 songs, 16 of my good friends, I sang every single song. This time we’re going to do it a little bit different. It’s gonna be awesome. Get this, 33 artists and bands, 14-songs.

Now, I’m only singing on 6-songs, but the rest of the songs are awesome and it’s people singing that are some of the most talented and rowdiest people Nashville has to offer. Here’s what we’re going to do, we’re gonna drop a song every Friday for 14 weeks. I’m telling you right now, you ain’t ready for this one!”

The first track from the project is expected to be released this Friday, September 10.

While no guests have been confirmed yet, early teasers suggests that Hixtape Vol. 2 will feature the likes of Dierks Bentley, Matt Snell, Morgan Wallen and ERNEST.

Released in 2019, Hixtape Vol. 1 featured a total of ten songs, all of which HARDY sang on, included his number one single, One Beer with Lauren Alaina and Devin Dawson. It also included songs with Trace Adkins, Joe Diffie, Jon Langston, Tracy Lawrence, Hillary Lindsey, Dustin Lynch, Jake Owen, Hunter Phelps, Thomas Rhett, Jameson Rodgers, Cole Swindell, Mitchell Tenpenny, Keith Urban, Wallen and guitar legend, Zakk Wylde

Earlier this year, HARDY featured on the Brantley Gilbert single, The Worst Country Song of All Time with Toby Keith, as well as the track, What Do I Know with emerging singer-songwriter, Robert Counts. Born Michael Wilson Hardy, the 30-year-old has written songs for Florida Georgia Line, Chris Lane, Blake Shelton, Rhett and Wallen among others.
