Groundwater announced for 2021

Major Events Gold Coast, the organizers behind the massive Groundwater Festival, have announced that the festival will return in 2021 and will be held from Friday, November 12 to Sunday, November 14.

Festival Director, Mark Duckworth is thrilled to make the announcement stating the Gold Coast has a lot to offer country fans and that holding off until November 2021 will enhance everything the festival has to offer.

“We’re excited to be giving Groundwater artists and fans something to look forward to and can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the Gold Coast for another great weekend, celebrating all things country music. The Gold Coast has so much to offer to our festival fans. So, for 2021 we made the decision to move Groundwater to November allowing us to make the most of the sun, surf and sand that sits on the festival’s doorstep”

The 2020 event was cancelled in May due to government legislation through the pandemic. Shannon Noll, Kasey Chambers, Sunny Cowgirls and Gina Jefferey were some of the major names set to light up the Gold Coast.
