When You See Me by McAlister Kemp – Video Premiere

McAlister Kemp drop one of their most powerful singles to date, When You See Me. Released on their #1 ARIA Australian Country Album, We Roll On, the song tackles human frailty and importance of looking out for each other and not judging a book by its cover.

As McAlister Kemp describe the track, “When You See Me is definitely more of a serious song that deals with issues of mental health and depression. It’s about how you can’t take for granted how a person might be feeling in their life and that you can’t judge a book by its cover. Sadly, a lot of people suffer in silence and for them it is very debilitating. It’s a song that we hope will give people the courage to speak up and reach out for help if they need it.”  

The powerful music video, which premieres today exclusively on Countrytown, was directed by multi-Golden Guitar winning video director, Duncan Toombs.

Recorded between Nashville and Sydney, We Roll On was their first new album release in over 7 years after a hiatus to follow solo projects. The guys supported the album with tour dates last August and September; taking to stages from QLD, through NSW, and into Victoria, playing their much-loved hits plus a stack of brand new music.
