Gympie Music Muster Talent Search Winner and Toyota Star Maker Australia Finalist Brittany Elise has returned with a new single, Get This Party Started.

An anthem for fun lovers across the globe, the track arrives with the kind of music video we’re proud and chuffed to premiere on Countrytown today.

The groovy rock meets country number finds Brittany Elise meeting and greeting fans at this year’s Deni Ute and Gympie Music Muster events, performing on stages, and seeing fans getting their parties started in the crowd and on the festival grounds. With bright concert lights, picturesque locations and a loving tribute to working-class Aussies attending country music events, she offers a relatable track and video for all her fans. Check out the music video below.

The song “not only captures the Nashville sound but resembles the theme for both my career and our live show on tour. It’s a way for me to connect with fans and join in the fun that comes with a country music show or festival. There’s nothing like that feeling,” Brittany Elise said in a press release about the track she wrote alongside David Carter (Ian Moss, Moving Pictures).

Discussing the making of the single in the US with Michael and Caleb Flanders, she continued, “The day in the studio was so much fun, and all six world-class musicians tracking their parts were right into the party vibe, with many singing the catchy hooks after recording.”

You can catch Brittany Elise perform Get This Party Started at her final shows of 2023 – at the Airlie Beach Music Festival (9-12 November) and at the Tannum Sands Hotel on Sunday, 19 November. Tickets are available via Elise’s website.

Earlier in the year, she travelled to the United States as part of her Gympie Music Muster Talent Search prize, where she performed shows at Vinyl Archaeology and Maxwell House in Nashville, recorded some new music and met several fellow country artists, including Carrie Underwood (whom she got to see perform at the Grand Ole Opry), Tigirligy Gold and Dozzi.
