Put Em Up by Brook Chivell – Video Premiere

After three years, Brook Chivell returns with his new single, Put Em Up. The country rock banger showcases Brook’s unique style and vocal range and will have you moving your body in no time.

Written by Brook along with Natalie Pearson, Tori Darke, Michael Grabbe and Steele Chabau, and produced by Jared Adlam at Machine Lab, Put Em Up is about facing problems with a sense of humour and making the most of every day.

Brook says, “I’m so excited to finally release this single. It’s been a long time coming and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it. I think it’s a great representation of who I am as an artist, and I hope it will be a real crowd-pleaser.”

The music video, which premieres today exclusively on Countrytown, was filmed by Nigel Jones at NKJ Studio. You might recognise a cheeky cameo too… Watch the video below!

Brook grew up with country music in his blood and started playing guitar at 17. He performed in cover bands for over ten years and was the driving force and frontman behind The Brook Chivell Band before he went solo.

Since the release of his self-titled album, the Toyota Starmaker finalist has been a regular performer at many country music festivals including Deni Ute Muster, Gympie Music Muster, Sydney Country Music Festival, Groundwater Country Music Festival as well as touring nationally. His contemporary country rock sound combined with powerhouse vocals has also seen him open for artists such as Adam Brand, Morgan Evans, McAlister Kemp, Travis Collins and The Wolfe Brothers.

Put Em Up is Brook’s first release since 2020’s Country Kinda Guy. Before that, he released a string of singles including In My Life, Fearless Rider, Fingerprints, Outta My Song, Hot Country Girl and ‘Til Its Gone as well as the duets I Wonder What You Kiss Like with Natalie Pearson.
