Fanny Lumsden won the ARIA Award for Best Country Album last night for her album 'Fallow', as presented by Australian country music super-star Morgan Evans.

Accepting her award via video call in a field outside the stone-hut studio where she record 'Fallow', Fanny gushed over all the people who supported her and the album.

"I just want to thank my family over here, the Patton family and everyone here at Tooma. Everyone who's ever come to a country halls show all over Australia. I want to thank Matt Fell for producing this record, Ben Corbett for writing these songs with me. Josh Schubert and Tom Lumsden. Dan Stanley Freemans for everything he does. Sam Phillip. Just so many people. I'm a little bit overwhelmed. And all the other nominees, what an incredible array of albums we've put out. Thank you so much!" Said Fanny.

'Fallow' debuted at #10 on the ARIA albums chart and received rave reviews across the board. This was her second nomination and first win at the ARIA Awards, she also won three Golden guiat Awards, an AIR award, and a CMC Award.
