8 April 2021 | 10:03 am | Mallory Arbour

Emerging singer-songwriter Trinity Woodhouse brings grown up, gritty realism to her new single Don’t You Know – and Countrytown has your first listen.

For someone who is completing her year 12 studies this year, emerging singer-songwriter Trinity Woodhouse brings grown up, gritty realism to her Josh Schuberth produced new single Don’t You Know – and Countrytown has your first listen and look at its accompanying music video for this exclusive premiere.

Trinity says, “This song is one that I am extremely proud of. While I have written songs based off of emotion before, I hadn’t connected to one I had written quite as deeply as this song, and that feeling is amazing - to know that the emotion behind this song is 100% honest and true to me.”

The music video was shot by Luke at Electric Light Films on Trinity’s home turf in Cessnock, NSW.

She explains: “We filmed it at Hotel Cessnock, in one of the back rooms and it was so incredible. I spent the day surrounded by people who were there to support my music, and it made the day a lot less stressful. The day was a lot of fun, and I got to spend the whole time in the spotlight and following my exact vision for the video.”

Don’t You Know follows her bouncy single, Bouquet, which reached #3 on the iTunes Country Singles Charts and #35 on the iTunes All Genre Charts, and has received over 19k steams of Spotify. Performing since she was 12-years-old, the CMAA Junior graduate has performed at various festivals including the Tamworth Country Music Festival, Country at the Camp, Macksville Music Muster and the Gympie Music Muster, where she was a semi-finalist in the 2019 Talent Quest.

As well as sporting the songwriting instincts of a veteran pro and an already exciting list of career accolades including wins for ‘Emerging Artist’ at the ICMA Patti McKinnon Awards and ‘Young Female Achiever of the Year’ Australia Day Award at the Cessnock area’s 2020 Australia Day Ceremony, it’s clear to see that Trinity is one to watch!
