Vixens Of Fall 's new single Crooked Crown, a sunny ode to bringing kindness to the world in troubled times, and Countrytown the exclusive premiere!

The queens of boho country rock - Vixens Of Fall – recently released their new single Crooked Crown, a sunny ode to bringing kindness to the world in troubled times, and Countrytown has your first look in this exclusive premiere!

They say, “This song was written to inspire everyone to reach out and be the kind of person to share love, respect and positivity! To straighten someone’s ‘Crooked Crown’ is to lift a person up, dust them off and be there for support; and we believe this is what the world needs now more than ever!”

Crooked Crown was co-written by Rod McCormack, Gina Jeffreys, Templeton Thompson, Sam Gay and Vixens of Fall.  They wanted to release a song into the world that helps spread the message to always be kind and look at the glass half full. You never know what’s going on in someone’s life, especially with what the world is facing right now.

The music video was filmed and produced by Jazmyn Bowman from Jazmyn Produces, at the historical Old Petrie Town, in Petrie, QLD amongst the beautiful Fig Trees!

Comprised of Nina, Wren and Lulu, the sisters were born and raised in the tropical north city of Cairns. The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Chuck Berry, Eric Clapton and Creedence Clearwater Revival were all a part of their Father’s morning repertoire and began the trio’s early passion for song. The sisters took to performance early, taking part in ballet, dance, and drama groups.

They moved to Brisbane in 2000 and started their professional singing career at the Urban Country Music Festival in 2016, and have since made regular appearances at the Gympie Music Muster and Tamworth Country Music Festival.

Vixens of Fall released their debut EP, A Love Likes Ours in 2019, which included the hit singles Jeremiah and Down By The River. And, in 2020, they won Tamworth 'Battle of the Bands' and were named Australia’s most popular 'Independent Country Band' for 2020-2021 by Indie Country Music Australia.

Their previous single, Scouts Honour debuted at #1 on the iTunes Country Singles chart, peaked at #5 on Countrytown Music Network Hot 50 Country Airplay Chart.  In 2021, they were also awarded the ‘Most Popular Independent Country Band’ at the Independent Country Music Awards and were finalists in the Queensland Music Awards for ‘Best Country Song’.
