Our Song of the Day is Country’d Look Good On You by former police officer, Texas chart-topper, and bilingual recording artist, Frank Ray. Produced by Frank Rogers, Country’d Look Good On You has back road swagger with a contemporary country groove.

Ray shared the music video for Country’d Look Good On You exclusively on Facebook. Following Facebook’s tremendous support for the video’s two-day exclusive premiere on the platform, the music video for his debut single garnered nearly one million views in two days.

Director Chris Hicky brought the country imagery and blossoming romance of the lyrics to life, pairing down home scenes with city life.

Ray says, “Because this song has been connecting with so many people, I wanted to enhance their experience with a really cool visual element— we really went full country with it too, while shooting the scenes next to the river, I got attacked by chiggers. I had itchy, polka dotted legs for a week!”

Growing up both enriched in his Mexican culture, three miles from the border in New Mexico and surrounded by country music in Texas, Ray was immersed in the best of both worlds and has been harmonizing the two since. His previous self-penned single, Streetlights was a rhythmic and romantic, sexy smooth cross between country and Latin music.

He has toured the nation and shared stages in support of artists like Kane Brown, Brett Eldredge, Luke Bryan, Kip Moore, LANCO, Old Dominion, Hunter Hayes, and more.
