Back in July (see here), we revealed which country music couples were expanding in a big way in 2021. Well, it’s been six months since then and many expecting have given birth, and more couples have gotten engaged or wed, so it’s time for a part two to wrap up the year!
Thomas Rhett, Travis Collins and Jimmie Allen are among the country stars who’ve welcomed new family members in 2021. Taylor Dye, Ashleigh Dallas, and others are still expecting. Michaela Jenke got married, while Jade Holland, Travis Denning and Gary Allan got engaged.

Engaged: Gary Allan and Molly Martin
Allan proposed to his girlfriend, Molly Martin earlier this month with a pear-shaped diamond ring he designed himself. The singer got down on one knee at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens in Nashville, surrounded by fairy lights and trees. This will be Allan’s fourth marriage.

Birth: Jimmie Allen and Alexis Gale
Allen and his wife, Alexis, welcomed a baby girl named Zara James in October. The couple are also parents to daughter Naomi Bettie. Additionally, Allen also has a son from a previous relationship.
Birth: Travis Collins and Bec Collins
Collins and his wife, Bec welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Ava Violet on October 26. The following month, the couple also celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary.
Expecting: Ashleigh Dallas and Chris
In December, Dallas revealed that her family of three are set to become a family of four in 2022. The couple already have a young daughter named Harriet.
Birth: Jordan Davis and Kristen O’Connor
Davis and his wife, Kristen welcomed their second child, a son named Locklan Joseph in September. The couple are already parents to daughter, Eloise Larkin, born on November 17, 2019.
Engaged: Travis Denning and Madison Montgomery
Denning proposed to his girlfriend of more than two years, Madison Montgomery, in New York City’s Central Park in early November. She is the daughter of singer, John Michael Montgomery.
Expecting: Taylor Dye and Josh Kerr
Maddie & Tae member, Dye announced in November that she and her songwriter husband, Kerr are expecting a baby girl in 2022. The couple have been married since February of 2020.
Birth: Harper Grae and Dawn Gates
Grae and wife, Dawn Gates welcomed daughter, Declan Monroe, on July 19. Her name honours Gates, one of one of Grae’s favourite saints (St. Declan of Ardmore) and Marilyn Monroe.
Engaged: Jade Holland and Chad
Holland’s partner of three years, Chad proposed to the Fight For It singer this November on a boat at sunset, surrounded by family and friends, on Nara Inlet at Airlie Beach in Queensland.
Married: Michaela Jenke and Reid Sampson
Jenke tied the knot to the musician in November. Sampson and his groomsmen wore western shirts, while Jenke wore cowboy boots under her long white gown. The couple got engaged over Easter this year.
Birth: James Johnston and TaliaRose Johnston
After 23 hours of labour, Johnston and his wife, TaliaRose welcomed son, River James at 3.36pm on Christmas Day. The couple are also parents to son, Koda.
Birth: Fanny Lumsden and Dan Stanley Freeman
Lumsden welcomed her second child with husband, Dan Stanley Freeman, a boy named Rupert David Jie Min on November 13. The newborn joins three-year-old son, Walter.
Birth: Melody Moko and Michael Moko
Moko gave birth to daughter, Maisy Loretta in March. Moko and her musician and producer husband, Michael are also parents to son, Miller and daughter, Magnolia.
Birth: RaeLynn and Josh Davis
RaeLynn gave birth to the couple’s first child, a daughter named Daisy Rae Davis, on September 8. RaeLynn’s song, Made For Me To Love, was written for her daughter and released before her birth.
Birth: Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins
Rhett and Akins welcomed their fourth daughter, Lille Carolina on November 15. The couple are also parents to daughters: Willa Gray, 6, Ada James, 4, and Lennon Love, 1.
Birth: Granger Smith and Amber Smith
The Smiths welcomed their fourth child together on August 20. The couple chose the name Maverick Beckham as a way to honour their late son, River, who died at the age of 3 after an accidental drowning in 2019.
Engaged: Mitchell Tenpenny and Meghan Patrick
Tenpenny proposed in November to his long-time girlfriend, fellow singer-songwriter Meghan Patrick at Losers Bar & Grill in Nashville, where they first met.
Expecting: Jennifer Wayne and Austin Moody
Runaway June member, Wayne and her musician husband of less than a year, revealed they are expecting a daughter in April. The couple have already chosen the name Lily Maria.
Birth: Brett Young and Taylor Mills Young
Young and his wife welcomed their second child, a daughter named Rowan Marie on July 21. The couple are also parents to daughter, Presley Elizabeth, born on October 21, 2019 in Nashville.
Birth: Mark Wystrach and Ty Haney
The Midland frontman welcomed his second child, a boy nicknamed “Champie”, with his wife, Ty Haney on December 5. The couple also are also parents to young daughter, Sunny.
