Artist Of The Week: Fanny

CountryTown in partnership with iHeartCountry Australiaq is proud to announce Fanny Lumsden as our Artist Of The Week, following a massive couple months from the Tooma country star.

It’s been a massive few months from Fanny kicking off with scoring the most nominations at next year’s Golden Guitar Awards, she’ll be up for Alt Country Album Of The Year, Female Artist Of The Year, Heritage Song Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Video Of The Year, Single Of The Year and Album Of The Year.

Fanny was also recently announced on the line-up from next year’s Gympie Muster! And she won the ARIA Award for Best Country Album with her incredible album ‘Fallow’. She’s also just released her new single Dig!

“Dig came out of a time where I was finding the line between gritting your teeth, digging deeper on something and letting it go of the things we can’t control, a moving target that has only become more relevant as 2019 turned to 2020 and 2020 has worn on. It’s ultimately about finding the joy where you can, and it always peps me up especially when the brass come in!” Said Fanny about the new single.
