Artist Of The Week: Andrew Swift

CountryTown in partnership with IHeartCountry Australia is proud to announce Andrew Swift as our Artist Of The Week. With two Golden Guitars under his belt, Andrew Swift has gone from strength to strength since finding his feet in Aussie country music.

Kicking off his career early, Andrew was a Toyota Star-maker grand finalist in 2017 then went on to release his debut album 'Call Out For The Cavalry' in 2019 which debuted at #1 on the ARIA Australian country chart.

Often referred to as one of the hardest working country artists in Australia, Andrew threw in his day job to tour full time in support of his debut album and hasn't stopped since. Between tours with the Wolfe Brothers, Felicity Urquhart, Shannon Noll and tonnes of festival appearances, Andrew Swift has become an name synonymous with Australian country music.

Andrew's latest single Right On Down has come in at #14 on the Hot 50 country chart this week after 4 weeks, climbing from # 24 last week.
