10 June 2021 | 11:15 am | Mallory Arbour

Golden Guitar nominated band, Hurricane Fall return with their latest single Another One More Time, a song full of lust and longing, heartache and passion.

Fresh off the back of their previous single Lost In Us, which scored over 360,000 streams across Spotify and Apple Music, Golden Guitar nominated, five piece Hurricane Fall return with their latest single Another One More Time, a song full of lust and longing, heartache and passion. It's our Song of the Day!

Produced by Michael Paynter and Michael Delorenzis at Msquared Productions in Melbourne, Another One More Time is a song examining the eternal question we all ask while dealing with the lingering emotions left over after we break up with someone we once loved: “what if?”.

Singer and bassist, Pepper Deroy says, “Another One More Time is a song about the undeniable connection that simmers below the subconscious until the catalytic combination of booze and loneliness bring on an explosion of emotion that has you reaching for the phone … just one more time ...”

The video for Another One More Time shows the band captured by Bruce Dawson and Lawrence Lim of Tribal Apes in live performance on a sound stage at Fox Studios.

Pepper adds, “Bruce wanted to capture the essence of Hurricane Fall, similarly to how David Attenborough would capture a bear in its natural habitat. The result is a real representation of Hurricane Fall in full swing.”

The Newcastle-based band’s 2020 debut album Ain’t Leavin has amassed over 1 million streams across Spotify and Apple Music, with various singles also added to playlists on Apple Music including Little Bit of Country, Country Lovin, Aussie Country, and Spotify’s Fresh Country and New Music Nashville playlists. Before that, their debut self-titled EP reached No. 2 on the iTunes Country Albums chart, with their follow-up EP, How We Get Down peaked at No. 4.

Hurricane Fall are fresh from a tour of regional NSW with Golden Guitar nominee Cass Hopetoun, and will be performing at the Deni Ute Muster, Gympie Music Muster, VDM Fest, Country By the River, Bush to Bay, Hats Off to Country, and Wingham Akoostik music festivals. Their forthcoming album is due in early 2022.
